The Olympic spirit (for English speaking people).

The important thing is to participate, to compete, but when you lose your face is not the best one. As in " The Young Frankenstein"movie,  when the mad doctor does not get the monster reanimated at first. In this great movie, in a later scene, Mel Brooks creates a chained monster foreground and the doctor talks about flying the Olympic spirit. The monster makes a face and smile cocoon. Sure it's mood Jew!

In Buenos Aires Madrid, Spain, has lost. Never miss the sense of humor!

I do not like the cronyism and politicking, and the lobby. I believe  the games were good for Madrid and Spain, which were supported by a large majority with enthusiasm. I do not know if we all deserved, I do not know how to evaluate it, I do not understand how it is measured. I understand that some people have worked a lot, which is disappointing. It makes me sorry for people waiting for the result excited.

I can not comment about Tokyo or Istanbul (I know both cities), perhaps were better candidates. However, I fear that there are two fundamental reasons, different and decisive to lose. 

One, the image we give, the other the lobby. In both we left defeated. At the time of Mr. Samaranch (RIP), dark character for sure, he knew how to move like a fish in water in both fields. Everything was  prepared.

We tried with Olympic athletes and member of the Royal Family, but who prepares the speeches? Are no rehearsals? How can the mayor could behave that way? Do not they prepare the questions which were most logical? The message must be addressed to WHO MUST GO.

Any image consultant would give precise instructions to go in another direction, clearly. Look for other people find other ways. We are talking to the world, not the Spaniards in a pathetic television program . We have people who write well, we have actors, filmmakers, professionals in any discipline, traveled, smart guys, however who advises? The mayor, the highest political authority of the candidate Olympic city, must just to resign.

The second reason is the lobby, cronyism, politicking, scam at international and Olympic level. I'm afraid they do not know how to do it. The Olympic committee, like many organizations, is a morally corrupt place, that flirts with the need to be essential, which boasts lesser evil. In Sodom and Gomorrah nobody escaped, in the Committee very few are saved. It is an office to place son/daughter, relatives, princes and suddenly they think and vote, after traveling and enjoying life. Against these must fight, we have to learn, world never was an easy place.
