Today,I can not get up (for English speaking people)

In Spain we talk about soccer, previously we also talked about bulls, and many other subjects. Now there is a lot of comments on the procedure / referendum / independence that the nationalist political parties from Catalonia are going to put on the table. 

Why? Because the call from the street shows that there is a sense (not rationality) against the idea of ​​unifying and united Spain although we discuss about football. Some, I do not know how many, want to leave, departing Spain from the scope of coexistence. They are obsessed, they do not think, they just looking for a way out.

The issue is sad and very, very disturbing. Worrying really.

It is not a goal disallowed, a missing fault badly whistled by the referee or if Messi is better than CR7. All of those things fall by the wayside.

Why has it come to this? There are many reasons. The intervention of specific people, lies, half truths, promises, betrayals and a clear intention from the beginning to get to this point, that has always been present. I hope everyone knows what they are doing.

There is one thing that concerns me and that it has similarities with football. Soccer has been also manipulated. In Catalonia you can not criticize the FC Barcelona, ​​this is a fact. The media operate without freedom. If you criticize the team, unfortunately our concept of critical always has a negative context, you must blur the text. Especially talking about players or the coach. You can criticize the president because there is sides, power struggle, although all may be alleged a strong team for certain things. What it can not be done is to reinforce the impression of the opponent, to give arguments, ideas, sensations. Do not show weakness, dark behaviors, you must cover them until you can not; blaming the press of Madrid, the capital of centralism. You must minimize hide, protect, especially the biggest star Messi. What comparison with the continuous sticks to CR7! that behavior has been historical with any Madrid player. Whoever reviles out, which does not follow the slogans, is out, over, history. 

Probably because it is more than a club and people enter in politics. Do not have this old behavior a lack of freedom ? Do not supposed to go in only one direction, opinions in one way? Is that the way to work fair in politics? Does this policy have one goal, denying Spain and so unite all in a feeling, only feeling in Catalonia?

How I'm not going to be sad? This is really sad. It is not that the FC Barcelona win anything or give the "Golden Ball" to one of his players. You may or may not like the shirt, but you have to give up talent when displayed.

Freedom carries with it. And without freedom, anything  is built wrong.
