Great white sharks and decline (for English speaking people)

It seems unlikely that the  huge bureaucratic monster called European Union could float and navigate safely.
Such framework, created after the World War  II, with sexy times, glamour and waiting list to be a   partner, is now tottering.
Why?
It has turned, long time ago, in a bureaucratic machine without ideas. A group of officials in Brussels and other parts of the world who enjoy not just spectacular salaries, but retirements/pensions which would provoke revolutions if data were openly discussed. No better than some Spanish bankers.
Why these salaries?
It seems to pay uprooting, in the XXI century, the uprooting of the Brits. Citizens who kindly smile about the idea of Europe), living in Brussels, with a similar climate, better trains than the national ones and the ability to use it on weekends to enjoy tea at home. The nationals from German, Luxembourg and the Nederlands at driving distance. French depending on location in France. Other members using low cost  air companies.  Civilized Schedules, very well planned holidays, schools, facilities, tranquility, manners and wasting. The bad thing is that apparently the weather is bad, you have to eat chips and drink beer, about that you have to suffer.
And ideas?
You can not build something as complex as the European Union without an idea, a  simple and clear idea. Their leaders are conspicuous by their absence in the world of ideas. The profile of any candidate for almost any position does not require having ideas, rather not have them. Simply being submissive, polite, never raise your voice, be able to attend any meeting without getting anywhere, have good manners and speak languages.
The Brits, in English are perfect and do not learn French. In the European Union, theoretically you must speak English and French, but in the case of a Brit it does not matter. Whether you're a secretary or Lady Ashton.
If you're handy and position yourself well, if you choose the winning horse you are going up. But if you get the assistant or administrative post do not worry you will be also fine.
At the end of the day you do not need ideas because they do not know what to do with them.
It is like the brave Kimi Werner, swimming alongside a great white shark, beautiful, majestic. Any day the monster could come back and destroy you.
