Between Camelot and the island of Scorpios (for English speaking people)

I do not know what it would have become of JFK , President U.S. in the sixties, if he would have lived in these days. In their own country, in this world with internet and networks sometimes no very social.
I read his speeches once more: "Investiture", "The President and the Press", "We choose to go to the Moon", "Civil Rights" "I am a Berliner". They are short, direct, well-articulated, touch the heart and have literary style. They are a little bit like him, even if he didn't write them completely.
Examining his words, it is easy to take the key messages: human rights derive from the hand of God ; to analyze the problems that unite us instead of dwell on the problems that divide us , defend freedom, what we can do together for the freedom of human beings; that journalism professionals should review their responsibilities; freedom has many difficulties and democracy is not perfect; we go to the space because it is there; to expect a fair law , indivisible freedom because when one man is enslaved, none is free.
Above all they created illusion, desire to work, to move, to keep going, looking for something better and fairer.
The media was very different then.
Would he have been president of people knowing, in detail, his adventures and romances? Certainly he had a much better taste, much better, than another colleagues. In particular Clinton who make a lot of money later reading speeches
Could the media end Camelot times in the White House? Would he had been murdered now? What leaks would show during the Cold War? Would his widow travel  to a Mediterranean island to be free and stand naked in front of the world?
What fascinating days, with no time to assimilate them! Not even the protagonists. Committed, like most humans, to live life as they could not to write the story. Oddly enough to contemplate the danger of a nuclear holocaust, the closeness of the Second World War, the confrontation with communism, real threats to basic human principles. We then pulled the vulgarity that always threatens, with mistakes and successes.
A little bit of  political glamour, a touch of class, ideas and to reach the real people are needed.
Here in Spain (I do not care about the rest of the planet) we only talk of crisis (and everyone has a right to carry on a decent life) but as it stated the wise Marx (Groucho): Politics is the art of looking for trouble, finding it, making a false diagnosis and apply the wrong remedies. "
Please do a different type of policy. Encourage your staff with dignity.
There was a time that was possible.
